Most people are in such a hurry to buy something, they jump on the internet and shop for the cheapest price or the most free goodies with it? Some of you folks are putting Customer Service last. Then you wonder why you don’t have any want or desire to go use your metal detector, because you don’t know how to operate it properly. Now it just sits in the closet with all the other exercise equipment you don’t use. Reality sets in and you failed again. NOT THIS TIME FOLKS… Why does no other dealers show photos of their customers SUCCESS????? Most dealers of detector sales don’t care.. Do you??? You better!!! My customers find GOLD and I can prove it…Can the other dealers????I am a 35+ year detectorist veteran. I use, sell, compare, train and do many testings of all 5 major brands of detectors in the US. But some of my testing also takes place in other countries, as I have taken groups to England, Bahamas, Alaska, many states in the lower 48 and even was with a group to Australia outback for a month. In reality, there are certain models of detectors that can do some tasks much better than others and then there might be a “different task” and the detector which performed poorly might in fact do the “different task” better. Take a White’s Spectra V3i and go nugget hunting with it. Try the same thing with a Minelab E-Trac. On average, which one will produce the most pieces of gold? Take the same to machines to a salt water beach and hunt for gold rings. Which one will produce the best depth and stability? More thoughts to ponder. In mineralized soils of the western US we like to hunt for gold using metal detectors. Many people ASSUME the Minelab GPX-5000 is the best? If I have a 1 ounce quartz specimen with streaks of gold in it, should I grab a VLF or PI machine? I like to hunt dredge tailing piles and know of big gold being found in them. Is a White’s V3i as good, better or worse than a Minelab E-Trac. Or do I use the GPX-5000? If I can’t afford a GPX-5000 what is the next best option?
